The sculpture features an abstract design composed of several interwoven, organically shaped elements resting on a rectangular base. Its coloration is distinctive, dominated by a blend of turquoise or teal-green and a metallic bronze or gold tone. A texture reminiscent of rough, irregular surfaces extends across the entire piece, interspersed with small, irregular deep-blue flecks. While the forms are slender and elongated, the angular connections give the sculpture a sense of solidity. At the top, the forms converge into a shape resembling a head or protrusion—leaning slightly forward—which lends the work an anthropomorphic quality. The organic forms of the structure are clearly discernible, as is the way they interlock. The base is flat and also finished with the characteristic blue-turquoise texture. The overall presentation is clean and focused on the artwork. The title "Melancholiker" (Melancholic)—alluding to Aristotle—suggests a possible interpretation of the formal language, perhaps reflecting the complexity and gravity of a contemplative or melancholic state of mind.
